A Shameful Situation...

It was painful but I was forced to face this situation. I thought once not to share this with you all, but at the same time it’s a nice forum to discuss it and get opinion from the brains of India.
Yesterday, I was coming from my college after classes. As usual I was on my bike and you know the Bangalore traffic!! It’s painful.. but not as painful as the situation what I faced..
It was about 03:40 PM and it happened to be the first brake on my bike-wheel after I left the college. It is the obvious biggest circle of Bangalore—Mekhri Circle. A Toyota Innova also braked by my side synchronously. A person by walk also came and stopped there. The Toyota power window opened and a man inside stretched his hand out of the window and handed a Rs.10 note to the person who had no four wheels but only two legs. In reply the man got something and closed the power window.
Can you guess what it was?? I know you are thinking that it’s a usual thing at the traffic. But that something was nothing but our Indian Flag. This is also usual. But the man inside the Toyota was not Indian, a French I guess. It was this situation that an instant shame came into my mind like a rocket.
Now can you imagine the situation? Now think “Can our flag be sold?” For Rs.10, our national flag was in the hand of a French person. It was not that I have not seen any person selling the flag. From childhood I have seen it and even purchased each year going to school ( Getting Rs.2 from my mother for flag but I always divided Rs.1 for flag and Rs.1 for chocolate :)).
Why should never I had such thought in mind? Why should Indian flag be sold? I know you may argue that many people get job due to it.. be it textile industry.. be it tailoring skills… but is it correct to commercialise the flag which we watch up-headed and salute it with a pride feeling during our school days and even now? Some people may definitely argue that “What is the use of this freedom?” but I ask them to tell honestly… To expect more without contributing is very easy. The fact is that freedom has given an identity to our country on global map in every field. Everything we have…to name a few are enormous talent, huge resources and cultural heritage. Still do you think a flag can be sold? It’s really painful?
Everytime I was critisizing the Bangalore traffic that was making my travel hectic, but I was really thankful to the yesterday traffic at mekhri circle which gave me a thought to present it in front of you. Please think seriously and what a day it is to debate--- the 64th Independence day.. Happy Independence Day...
Note: This is my personal opinion and not to hurt anyone’s sentiments. I do apologize if I did any such thing.

2zero1zero

Sorry guys for being late, as I was planning to write this on 1st Jan, but due to my bad health (don't panic.. it was simple cold/viral). I recovered fully today. I was thinking about the new year....
Full day I spent in calling my relatives and friends... I am sorry if I din't talk any of you that day... but I felt funny about myself that day.. It is not only because people do exchange greetings of hope (in fact so manyyyyyyyy hopes and wishes!!!) on that single day, but also because I also did the same :).
The funniest part is yet not over... You know I talk or wished through SMS to people whom I had not even asked their well being for long time... Surprising!!! (and I laughed from inside that din't came outside.. really funny..)
Let's change over to next thought that was roaming in my mind couple of hours later... What's the speciality of this year? Can there be some logic? Can the logic (if any) be used for futuristic approach of life? No dear I din't thought about any of the answers for above questions... but yes "the questions" itself directed me to some pattern... 2010...
Firstly Two zero's in alternate places...
Secondly there is decreasing- increasing-decreasing trend betweeen two numbers...
Thirdly,Normal trend might be.. Zero 0, one 1, two 2.... but here it's two zer0...
Finally we know that subtracting same numbers gives zero and here it's fortunately present also... 2-2=0, 1-1=0... bold numbers=2010
Let's recollect all the bold figures...
alternate, decreasing, zero, subtracting......
Let's analyse now...
-Opposite of sequence is alternate.. may be some of the events this year may repeat alternately from the past or from this year in different month itself...
-Opposite of increasing is decreasing... May be this year something goes decreasing.. deficit in something...
-In boolean, I need not to tell what a zero means..... May be there will be some choking or blockage of some important event this year...
-Opposite of addition is subtraction... There might be some loss which is represented by subtraction pattern...may be in financial or economic terms...
Overall it gives an indication of either a 'off the trend' year or a 'negative' year....
Let's hope for the best...
Well I am not a numerologist nor did I ever tried something like that but I don't know why this thought compelled me to do such analysis.. I myself surprised...

PS: The content of this blog is totally individual's opinion and analysis and nothing to do with feelings of any person.

Man or material: Which is smarter?

Let me continue with what I have promised in my last blog..
First lets talk about similarities...
I have thought of a lot of cases of material failure in my day to day life as well as in my job. Also I have seen lot of human being sufferings. There are so many failure mechanism for materials as well as for man. Materials and man both can fail due to overload/tension. Both has life for which they have to perform their duty. Both man and material thinks... oops what I have said? Think? I know u wont believe... Tell me if you are of the same opinion of non believing when you end reading and breath long ...
Now what's the difference...
In none of the cases I have seen materials crying during failure as man do... Man being emotional may exaggerate the situation even if it may not be that severe. Whenever there is slight tension, man talks, laughs, show their concern to others.... but materials can't... Man and materials both thinks but as materials cant spell it out due to its limitation, it keeps record of each and every sufferings even if it is slightest and calculates itself the point at which it will fail... Here the material is very smart... It doesn't even give a warning to failure... It sustained all the loads and all the rude behaviour that humans did on it initially... and then takkkkkkkk.... failed...Mission retaliation completed...
Just to show the human how smart they are.... at that point its like materials are asking finally to the human all its concern and even the human reciprocates by realising it... Till now there is no science that can predict exact time of man or material failure... But materials do it for themselves logically, smartly and queitly...

M-Square

Its not the same as mens wear brand "f-square" what you might have seen on the big screens roadside in a market. This is something else..
Can you name two most powerful evolution of this planet? I thought yesterday...
I agree that it may be individuals perception and there is no theory or rule behind it.
What came to my mind was "man and material".
Whenever I have seen any object ranging from nano size to a massive structure/aircraft around me, I could only reach to the conclusion that it is due to man and material..
Let's take an example what I am seeing right now in front of me.. Say a bottle..
It has material- Plastic (obviously the brain is by man but brain cannot generate material it can only discover...)
and then it has been applied with some manufacturing process by man to get its shape and size.
Although manufacturing process also involves certain tools, but it is quite clear that those tools are also the result of same man and material.
so guys start thinking and let me know if there is any third one.... will come back to you with much more interesting things about man and materials...

Bangalore Durga Puja

Last week it was festive season all over India and guess what is it-- It's Durga Puja. I am with my full family for the first time in bangalore this Durga puja.

I must tell you that here Durga puja celebration is mostly done by some bengalee associations. Very well managed clubbed with some gr8 cultural programs....

We all went to Ulsoor RBANMS ground for puja on 26th... It was about 12:30 Pm and my mother and wife did puja there. Also as it was the golden jubilee year of the bengalee association, they have arranged mahabhoj --- free for all with hygienic menu (khichdi, aloo dum, mixed veg, aam chutney, rasagoolla, kheer) and it was unlimited...Please control your tongue...

Next day we went to different places but this time in the evening... Pandals fully adorned and filled with devotees.. Different types of cultural programmes have been arranged at different place.. viz somewhere garhwa, somewhere dandia, somewhere rockband bla bla... but the spirit of the people were same--- and that is "to enjoy fully and involve actively"..

For the last three four years I was totally away from this festival even though I was in bangalore.. but the fact was that I was alone.. It was something like coming back to child age and have a "chalo mela dekhne" feeling... wish someone could have given some money also :)

Lastly thanks to the continous official holiday (with saturday and sunday) that I could have all such kind of feelings :)

WORK-LIFE balance

It's quite difficult to maintain a work life balance, however not impossible. What plays here a crucial role is the will not the skill. If you want, you can.... try it !
"Priority" is another factor which varies from person to person. Well for some, Career is their priority whereas for some it is social relationship, family, money bla bla bla...
but its better to have a well defined priorities in advance.....It will help to create a work life balance....

Is Everything Comes At A Price?

I am not an economist. But I have a basic question regarding the current financial crisis.
Why the financial system of a country is liquid? To put in other way why a country cannot increase the volume of its currency to overcome financial downturn?

Every country has its own currency. That currency is also released by its own country.  Then why is  it not possible? It sounds rediculous.. Even thinking about it I laughed at myself!!!

Let me put it by an example. Suppose a country has a total of x unit of its currency. All this currency would have been printed or manufactured by an institution of that country. A general person or lets say bank has y unit of that currency. If that institution releases additional nx unit of currency and distribute it to that person or bank then the total currency with them will be proportionally incresed by ny amount. Now they can invest or spend ny amount in other countries as the currencies are interchangeable. People want money to fulfil their basic needs as well as to do what they want. They can do anything with this money as the world is open.
I agree that we have limitation of our exports. We cannot export money in lieu of commodities. Every country has the limitation of its resources but an independent country can release money to buy anything they need from a country where that resource is in surplus. What is the limitation? Everything comes at a price!! Some at high cost and some at low.

Well the answer may be here. Population is increasing and resource is limited. We cannot stop time to make population stagnant. Nor we can increase the resources of the world as a total. A country cannot export more by reducing its consumption lower than a threshold. So the total consumpion is limited to make resources sustainable for future use. If inbalance occurs it may create havoc in the world.

But coming to the present situation in US, the crisis is due to unavailability of liquidity. Can America do this tricky thing to overcome its crisis? Who will regulate? If they print huge amount of dollars and inject it to bank then everything will be fine for them. Can they do it for short term solution to make suffer other developing countries in long term? Let's wait and watch!!!

A Poem in the dream

Oh! my cute little dreamgirl.
its the best moment of each day,
that you come and take me,
to the way away from this fake world,
on the shore of an blue ocean,

Perplexed by the mystery of ocean end,
and the desire to see where sky meets ocean,
Everything gets simple when I see you,
All the riddles that nature hides is now open,

Never let your smile stop,
which keep my heart ticks,
Thou should not close your eyes,
where I see the purest of the world,

At times,I get jealous by the breeze,
that freely waves with your hair,
And It's the colour of your lips,
that makes even the red rose to feel shy,

Oh! my cute little dreamgirl,
its the sad moment that you are going,
Even after your promise to come again,
I can't express how much I miss you,

Being with you It feels more than heaven,
I had nothing to offer you as a gift,
but still you love me a lot and come again,
The care that you do is everything for me,
I feel I am being myself with your soul,
With all the powers that you bestow on me,
I will fight to the world till we meet next.

Oh! my cute little dreamgirl,
I will wait like ocean waiting for sun,
Please come soon to take me away,
Never leave me in my dreams alone,
oh! my cute little dream girl, come soon..

B2BB

Back to bangalore and blogging too. I went to my hometown on a long holiday. Before going there were lot of speculations among my friend that I am going for my marriage without telling them. They were not ready to believe me. Now I am back single to bangalore. Hopefully they will believe now.
The trip was excellent and I loved it. I was very much excited to see my lovely home after a period of more than one year. The crowded city, the lovely markets and the perfect ambience.. all that I loved and missed. I have seen my school building (not a school now), my college and my favourite places where I used to spend time with my friends. But it was very tough to realise that those days have gone. The places are there but not the friends, memories are there but not that I can convert past into present like a sentence in grammer.

Then I also travelled a lot to meet my relatives. Although I talked to them over phone, but meeting them was a great feeling. Spending time with my family is something which I love more than anything else. During my entire visit I missed bangalore for it's climate. Everywhere I found the scorching heat from the sun penetrating my body. When I was in Darbhanga, there was no power at the places wherever I stayed. But the fun was that power comes whenever I was about to leave one place to meet other relative.

During the journey I have seen few old people sitting at the periphery of a deep hole at a construction site and looking deep into it. It was mid day and nothing was near two km around I guess. Curiosity forced me to ask them what they are seeing deep into it. They said that they are waiting for the construction to be over. It was a road construction that connects their village to the main road. A lot of development work is going on and people have hope now.

I also came across the real scenes of flood that looks like an ocean with no end. The desperate faces still asks in silence to me "when will the situation becomes normal?"
I have no answer. Perhaps the nature do have...
